Lucille Helen Forrester passed away peacefully at the Royal University Hospital on Sunday July 3, 2022, at the age of 91.

She was born in Radisson, Saskatchewan to Marcella and John Rybka. Lucille grew up and resided most of her life in Prince Albert. On June 16, 1951, she married the love of her life, Ellis Forrester, and they shared 65+ years happily together.

During their lifetime together Lucille and Ellis lived within the city of Prince Albert prior to living on their acreage just south of Prince Albert for almost 25 years. They also took pride in and enjoyed spending time at their cottage at Emma Lake. Lucille had many pastimes including baking, knitting, reading, aquasize, skiing, travelling, and socializing with friends and family. Prior to having children, Lucille worked for the Saskatchewan Department of Forestry. Once the boys arrived, she was a dedicated stay at home Mom. When the boys were all in school, Lucille embarked on working almost 25 years as a dispatcher with the Prince Albert City Police.

After Ellis’ passing, Lucille resided at Diamond House Personal Care Home in Warman since 2018. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the loving, compassionate, wonderful care provided to their mother over the past 4+ years.

Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Ellis, in 2017. She is survived by her three sons Glenn, Brent and Todd and their families along with her sister June Heidgerken and sister-in-law Dorothy Henderson.

As per Lucille’s request there will be no funeral service. Her cremains and urn will be placed in the niche along with Ellis’ at the Columbarium at St. John Cathedral.

Arrangements entrusted to Martens Warman Funeral Home (306) 934-4888.

Mom…

Though your smile is gone forever

And your hand we cannot touch

Of the one we loved so much

God has you in His keeping

We have you in our hearts.
