Lyndon Urquiza

February 14, 2001 — March 26, 2021

It is with great sorrow the family of Lyndon Carter Urquiza announce his call to glory March 26, 2021, in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Lyndon was born February 14, 2001 in Saskatoon, SK.  He was the best Valentine’s gift from God we could have asked for.  From the time he was a little boy he was curious of all things, how they worked, what made them tick and how best to take them “APART”.  He loved building Legos, dinosaurs and “MONKEYS”.

From an early age Lyndon attended Sunday School at Salvation Army Temple and in 2008 became a Junior Soldier dedicating his life to following Christ. Lyndon enjoyed many activities during his growing up years; music camp, video games, family birthdays, Christmas and other special occasions where family and friends gathered. His most favourite pastime was “FOOD”-eating it, learning how to make it; cookies, cakes, desserts. We enjoyed preparing meals together.

He loved learning, loved reading history and debating. As Lyndon grew, he learned to love the sport of soccer, and played for several years with Hollandia Soccer Club.

Lyndon attended Caswell (Pre-K) and Brownell Elementary, upon finishing grade 8, he went to high school at Marion Graham Collegiate.

At the age of 19 he moved to Kamloops B.C. where he was actively pursuing additional education and training to enhance his life.

Lyndon was a compassionate soul and was friendly to all who met him on his short journey in life.

He was a son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. He leaves to forever miss him; his parents Hernan & Cindy Urquiza, sisters Morgan Urquiza (Kiel Witt), Heidi (Kyle Wilkin)- Leduc and Lorena Urquiza (Chad); nephews Nathan & Preston Wilkin; niece Spencer Wilkin; grandparents Carol Sinclair (Peter Stachiw), Harol Gabrielson, Burton Sinclair; special cousin Howard Ramsey; Uncle Mike Geauvrea; Auntie Charmaine Ens and his church Family -Saskatoon Temple Salvation Army, many Family & Friends.

Until we see you again, we love & miss you.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Salvation Army Beaver Creek Camp.

All family and friends are invited to celebrate Lyndon’s Life, Saturday July 10, 2021 at 11am at the Saskatoon Salvation Army Temple, 38 Bateman Cres, Saskatoon. Service conducted by Majors Donald and Donna Bladen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cherished Memories Funeral Services and Crematory Inc.
