Marcus Emile Peter Iron

With saddened hearts we announce that Marcus Emile Peter Iron passed away on December 9th, 2024, at the age of 32 years. Marcus was born on November 3rd, 1992. 

Marcus is survived by his mother Brenda Longjohn; step-dad Warren Longjohn; father Gregory Iron; common-law wife Jayden Dennett; children Alessi Iron, Annaliese Iron, Alvine Iron, Joseph Blair-Iron, Keira Corrigal-Iron, Serenity Corrigal-Iron; godparents Albert Lariviere, Helen P Iron; aunties Isabelle, Lillian, Shirley, Delores (Garrett), Roxanne (Mervin); uncles Richard (Donna), Alvin, Bobby (Jolene); brothers Greg Couillonneur-Iron, Bryce Couillonneur, Dominic Moostoos, Keith Iron, Kenneth Iron, Dallas Masuskapoe, Justin (Laurie) Masuskapoe; sisters Natalie Iron, Kristina McCallum; grandmothers Alice Couillonneur, Peggy Iron; great aunts and uncles Freda Desjarlais, Eva (Bob) Roy, Delores Blackmon, Kenneth Iron, Hermaline Tootoosis, Josette Couillonneur, Brian Charland; plus numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his cousins Tabby McCallum, Leon Couillonneur; uncle Joseph Rene McCallum; aunties Brenda C. Couillonneur, Barbara Ann Couillonneur; grandparents Pierre Couillonneur, Danny Desjarlais, Joe & Marie Fleury; great grandparents Emile & Ernestine Iron, Alex & Ernestine Desjarlais, Joseph & Agnes Couillonneur.

Wake Service will begin Friday, December 13th, 2024, at the Canoe Lake Band Hall, Canoe Narrows, SK. 

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at St. Margaret Mary, Canoe Narrows, SK. Interment to follow at Canoe Narrows Cemetery.
