It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our dear wife, mother, sister and friend on August 21, 2022. Marianne is survived by her husband of 51 years Mervyn; her children Ryan (Loreena), Regan (Dinah); her grandchildren Simon, Tatjanna, Hillary (Christian) Nicolas Flores; her great-grandchild Stella Nicolas Flores; her mother Jean Samulak; her sister Myrna (Allan) Borolien; two brothers Murray (Connie) Samulak, Gord (Brandy) Samulak, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father William Samulak in 2011.
Marianne will always be remembered as a loving, caring, generous and forgiving woman who always saw the best in people and would often go out of her way to help in any way she could. She will also be remembered for her great sense of humour and how she could always make you laugh, feel welcome and of course her great cooking.
Marianne had strong faith in her God Jehovah. She would speak with others about God’s promise in the Bible of a resurrection to an earthly paradise. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” – Revelation 21:4.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for all of the condolences and support we’ve received.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in care of Martens Warman Funeral Home.
