It is with our deepest sorrow that we say goodbye to Marion. She passed away peacefully at her home after a brief battle with cancer with loved ones by her side.
She is survived by her children Trevor (Tricia) Ridgewell and grandson Jack, Tracy (Don) Ridgewell; her sibilings Jim (Ruth) Reynolds, Shirley (Don) Borisko, Bev (Alan) Silzer, sister-in-law Avis Reynolds, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved puppies Ryder, Foxy and Willow that were snuggled by her side during her tough days and right to the end. She was predeceased by her first husband Doug Ridgewell, 2nd husband Joe Wiebe, her parents Harry and Pat Reynolds, and he brother’s Arthur and Robbie.
Marion was raised on a farm in Quill Lake where she attended Twin Creek and Quill Lake school. Marion moved to Saskatoon when she was 18 and went to Saskatoon Business College. She went on to work various jobs through her lifetime, the longest being at Claypool’s Saddlery.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, dancing and playing cards. She loved watching curling and was a huge fan of the Blue Jays, even went to Seattle to see them play! In 2005; she started going to the Fairfield Seniors Centre and played a very active roll running bingos and various card socials. Through her time there she enjoyed socializing and became active on the committee and held several positions and was President on her passing.
Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Senior Centre, 103 Fairmont Court, Saskatoon.
