Subscription Update Obituary

With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Mary Dora Laliberte (Dorothy), on May 12, 2023, at the age of 80 years.

Mary is lovingly survived by her children Priscilla (John) Young, Orlando Petit, Wesley Petit, Wendy (Colin) Bratt, Wanda (Paul) Kugyelka; siblings Ernest (Dolly) Laliberte, Nelda Laliberte, Robert Laliberte; sister-in-law Paula Laliberte; special nieces Ronelda McCallum, Tanya Morin, Janelle Pederson; special granddaughters Tesheena Petit, Kari Anna Petit; and numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her grandchildren: Nathaniel Petit, Sheena Laura Young, Tryson Petit; parents Julien and Algina Laliberte; ex-husband Norman Petit; special friend Vital (Pops) Daigneault; siblings Tommy Laliberte (infant), Bella Morin (Henry), Jean Bugby (Bob),, Betty Laliberte, Didace Laliberte, Floyd Laliberte, Solomon Laliberte, Josephine (Ken) Petite, Gladys Laliberte (infant), and James Laliberte.

Wake Services will be held at the Lakeview Complex, Buffalo Narrows, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Buffalo Narrows, SK.

***Due to the fire related evacuation in the Buffalo Narrows area, Mary’s services will be postponed until further notice***
