With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of May Plewis (Sletten), on December 7th, 2022, at the age of 82 years.
May Plewis (Sletten) was born May 26, 1940, in Cabri, but grew up on the family farm in Hazlet, Saskatchewan. She graduated from teachers college and taught school briefly in Cabri.
May married Keith Plewis on July 21, 1961, for 61 (and don’t forget the extra half) years. She is survived by children Kim (Richard Delaney), Dale (Carolyn), Danny (Kerri), and Debbie (Richard Lewis). She wholeheartedly loved her grandchildren Bryn (Emily), Rourke, Ciara, Nathan (Maddy), Christian and very importantly her only great grandchild Kingston.
We will always remember her amazing cooking skills, her laughter and her very pointy poking finger. She thankfully found peace passing away with family by her side on December 7, 2022.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 12, 2022, at 1:30 pm in McClure United Church, 4025 Taylor St. East, Saskatoon. Livestream will be viewable online at https://www.faithproductions.ca/livestreams
Memorial donations may be made to donations@mcclureunitedchurch, cremation has taken place.
