It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle Joan Montgrand, on January 15th, 2023, at the age of 37 years.
Michelle is survived by her Mom Julianna Montgrand; Step-Father Louie Laprise; Father James (Mary) Chanalquay; sisters; Melanie, Melissa, Tashina, Nikki (Gerald) Glasser; Brother Michael
Jonathan (Jenna) Aubichon, Hazel Chanalquay, Karen (Paul) Jewers, Tina Chanalquay, Lydia (Angus) Chanalquay, Patricia (Terrance) Belle, Tammy. (Augoosh) Sylvestre, Chantelle Sylvestre
Uncles Tanton (Sophie) Chanalquay, Leslie Sylvestre, Daniel Sylvestre as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her Grandparents Noel & Sophie Montgrand and Lawrence & Rosaline Chanalquay; Sister Madonna Montgrand; Cousins Jeremy Chanalquay, Maria Sylvestre and Christopher Montgrand.
Wake Services will be held at St. George’s Hill Community Hall, from January 25th to 26th, 2023, and in La Loche at Bertha’s Montgrand’s residence on Herman Street, January 27th to 28th, 2023.
Church Services will be held at Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church, Saturday January 28th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the La Loche Cemetery, La Loche, SK.
