Neva Cecile Mirasty

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Neva Mirasty “Baby Chan” at the age of 87 years on October 8, 2021.

Neva is lovingly remembered by her Children Helen (Larry) Lizotte, Linda (Edward) Delorme, Sandra (Robert) Fiddler, Gary (Cammi) Mirasty, Sheila Mirasty (Gordon McCallum, Patricia (Will) Main, Rico (Marcia) Mirasty, Giselle Mirasty (Brent Danilkewich); Daughter-in-law Michelle Mirasty; Brother Mike (Delores) Peeyachew; adopted children Chris (Brian) Arcand, Corinne Potts, Charlene Mazzerolle, Patricia Frazer, Joan Burnstick, Frank (Matilda) Boyd, Wade Sanderson, Dobie Weasel, Don Misponas, Ivan Susan Toledo and Kim Nagyl.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank J. Mirasty; parents: Andrew Peeyachew and Mary Lucy Keeskotagan; brothers Henry Beaudry, Joe Keeskotagana and Lawrence Keeskotagan; sisters Connie Morin, Florence Body and Amilia Baptiste; children Daryl Glen Mirasty, Karen Francis Mirasty and Ronald Andrew Mirasty; grandchildren Crystal Lynn Mirasty, Chad Daniel Mirasty and Jamie Lafromboise.

Funeral service to be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Flying Dust Gymnasium at Flying Dust First Nation.
