Niela Frydenlund

Niela (Row) Frydenlund passed away on January 20, 2025, after a short illness, surrounded by family and special caregivers. 

She was predeceased by her husband Arvid in 2017 and is survived by her children Loree-Lee (Arvid), Lonny & Pamela (Ty), Cindy & Brad Eckart (Brayden & Emily; McKenzie & Cole) and Kari Soroski (Nick & Kellyn; Hannah; Matt & Steph; Kendahl & Elwood). She was also survived by two sisters Buddy Turriff (Pat) and Lynett O’Dell and their families. 

She was so grateful to have been at three of her grandchildren’s weddings in the past few years and was looking forward to a new great grandchild in May. 

The family is eternally grateful to Nelie & Michael and the staff of Blest Personal Care Home, for their love and special care of our Mama as well as Palliative Home Care and Martens Warman Funeral Home. 

A memorial service will be held on March 22 at 1:00 pm at Elim Church, 419 Slimmon Road, Saskatoon, SK.
