She was predeceased by her father Bill Pierce, mother Alvina Pierce, 1st husband John Reimer, 2nd husband Gordon Hay, daughter Rose Hladchuk, son-in-law Alain Yuen, grandson Michael, great-grandson Derek, and brother Art Pierce.

Nora married John Reimer in May 1957. She spent 24 years in the banquet/catering business and retired from the Sheraton Cavalier in December 2004.

Mom had a love for Jehovah and loved talking about her faith to others.

She had a special love for ice cream and enjoyed her outings to the local ice cream shop in Rosthern.

She spent the last two years and three months in the Rosthern Nursing Home, where she was lovingly cared for by both the nurses and support staff. The family is extremely grateful for the care by the nursing home staff.
