It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Norman Earl Taggart announces his death on June 23, 2023.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Esther; his daughters Gayla (Kelly) Phillip and Leisa (Layne) Carrick; grandchildren Christian (Olivia) Phillip, Chloe Phillip, Joel Watson, Shantelle (Jonathan) Hollis, Kylee (Preston) Boyko; great-grandchildren Florence, Sybil, Remy, Natalya and Roman.
Earl first loved farming with his father Walter Taggart in the Valley Center area, then later in the Biggar area with his wife Esther and daughters. He later enjoyed his retirement years in Saskatoon, spending all of his time with his family and the friends that he made in Saskatoon. He always loved taking his grandchildren out for coffee and a donut. He had lots of stories to share and had a great sense of humour.
Earl had a strong faith in the Bible’s promise of a resurrection to a beautiful paradise earth with no more suffering. He is now peacefully resting in Jehovah God’s memory awaiting the time when he will be restored to life on earth under peaceful conditions. His family looks forward to welcoming him back.
We would like to thank all the staff at the Saskatoon Convalescent Home for the care they provided during the past few months.
Martens Warman Funeral Home is honoured to be entrusted with the care and arrangements of Mr. Taggart.
