It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pearl Marjorie Stewart, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Pearl passed peacefully with family by her side on March 8, 2025, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan due to complications from cancer.
Born on June 13, 1956, Pearl lived life well. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, travel, her home on the lake near La Ronge, SK., and her new home near the ocean in Courtenay, BC. Pearl’s door was always open and she would provide guidance and support through her welcoming nature to all those lucky enough to meet her. She enjoyed expressing herself through whimsical art, using glass as a medium. Most of all she enjoyed time with her family and friends. She will be missed.
Pearl continues to live through her husband Ross, children William (Daniela) and John (Stephanie), grandchildren Dominik and Nadja, as well as sister Eileen (David Reid). She is predeceased by her parents John and Rita Irwin, and her brothers Jack Irwin and Ian Irwin.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Pearl’s name to a charity of your choosing.
Pearl would suggest when remembering her that it’s ok to shed a tear and remember to smile as well.
Martens Warman Funeral Home is honoured to be entrusted with Mrs. Pearl Stewart's care and arrangements.
