Peter Braun passed away peacefully on April 6, 2023 at 4:30 PM at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan surrounded by his wife of 68 years and all of his children. Peter was 90 years young when called home.

Peter was the oldest of fourteen children. He was born on the Unruh family farm in the Hague area on November 6, 1932 to Aron and Anna Braun. Peter leaves behind siblings John, Anne, Mary, Susie, Helen, Jacob, Cornie, Margaret, Nettie, Sarah, and Henry.

Peter will be loved and missed by his wife Margaret, and children Audrey, Ken (Linda), Judy, and Sharon (Marty). Grandchildren Christina (Kirk), Marty (Laura), Nicole (Rob), Allison (Garret), Janine, Kevin, Nathan, Tyler (Krysten). And Great grandchildren Camron, Brody, Lynn, Hunter, Codie, Weston, Gunnar, and Wren.

He was preceded by his parents Aron and Anna, twins siblings Tina and Aron, and granddaughter Kari.

Their lives were spent on Osler street in Saskatoon for the better part of sixty-five years until moving to Bethany Manor.

Funeral Service for Peter will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023 in the Warman Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 206 Second Street, Warman with Rev. Henry Janzen officiating. Interment will follow in the Blumenthal Cemetery.
