Peter (Geoff) passed away quietly at home with family at his side. His determination to live a full life after his cancer diagnosis continued up to his passing. His family and friends will remember him as someone who accepted a challenge and set out to complete it.

He is remembered by his wife Connie Cornwell, son Paul Pybus (Holly Keeler) of Saskatoon, daughter Heather of Vancouver, stepson Paul Cornwell (Megan) of London ON, stepdaughter Teresa Cornwell (Ali Williams) of Kitchener, ON; and by his grandchildren  Katelyn, Jenna, Eden, Aidan, James, Isaac and Sol; brother Dave Pybus (Liz) of Hanover, ON, sister Margo Pybus of Ardrossan AB; brother-in-law Doug Zimmer (Gwen) of Calgary as well as nephews and nieces, and extended family in England.

Geoff was born in Cottingham England to parents Peter and Doreen Pybus. His family immigrated to Canada in 1958 and settled on a farm near Tillsonburg, Ontario. He attended high school in Tillsonburg and graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He worked as a civil/structural engineer in companies in Ontario, Alberta, and Saskatoon, retiring from Westeel in 2013.

He is predeceased by his parents Peter and Doreen Pybus.

The family would like to thank Dr Berger, the Saskatoon Cancer Centre, and Saskatoon Palliative Care Services for their support.

A celebration of Geoff’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can made to Sherbrooke Community Centre and the Canadian Cancer Society for Prostate Cancer research.
