Réné passed away peacefully on July 28, 2023 at the age of 70 years. Funeral Services were held at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Patuanak, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
Réné is lovingly survived by his sons Brennan (Naomi) Janvier, Trevor Janvier & Skyler Durocher-Janvier; Daughters Deanne Janvier & Shannon Opikekew; Brothers & Sisters Leon (Penny) Janvier, Lawrence (Rita) Janvier, Louis Janvier, Dolores (Henry) Maurice, Denise (Garry) George, Roma Janvier, Roberta (Lloyd) Janvier; His favourite grandkids Nicole (Cory) Graham, Colby Janvier, Tamira McCallum, Sage Wapiskokimaw, Cecile Janvier, Amaris McCallum, Gavin Janvier, Dalyn Janvier, Dayson Janvier, Talon Bouvier, Tatum Opikokew & Taldyia Opikokew; His Great grandkids Keirin Janvier & Bree Graham; along with numerous nieces & nephews; God daughter: Erin Maurice-Janvier; his Uncle Prosper Bekkatla, Uncle Alex Morin and Auntie Rose McIntyre.
He was predeceased by his parents George & Cecile Janvier; Grandparents Norbert & Madeline McIntyre; Isacc & Annie Black; Brothers Albert Janvier, Etienne Black, Joseph Janvier, Baby Rene Janvier; Sister Jane Louise Janvier; Son Tilden McCallum; Best friend Martin Paketin; Numerous Brother/Sister in laws, Uncles, Aunties, Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
