Robin Rae Turn

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Robin Rae Turn, who departed peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on March 20, 2024. Born on December 18, 1963, Robin was predeceased by her father, Larry Turn, and is survived by her beloved mother, Bernice Turn.

She leaves behind a legacy of devotion as a beloved mother to Jeffrey Dyck (Shikara Dyck) and Samantha Dyck, and a cherished grandmother to Haylee Smith, Teegan Smith, and Benjamin Dyck. Robin's spirit of love extended beyond her family, touching the lives of countless friends and relatives.

Robin's passion for painting was matched only by her love for her grandchildren, which she joyfully incorporated into her artwork. Raised in Saskatoon, with fond memories of LeRoy and Greenan, SK, Robin spent over two decades at Horizon Financial, where her warmth and dedication endeared her to colleagues and clients alike.

In honouring Robin's memory, let us treasure her paintings as reminders of her creativity and love. 

At Robin’s request a funeral will not be held, alternatively the family will have a private celebration of her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Glengarda Hospice Care or Don’t Stop The Music Fundraiser, who provided excellent care in her final days. 

Though Robin may have departed this world, her spirit remains eternally in our hearts. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
