Ruby Small

Mom lived life to the fullest. Her zest for life and compassion for others was limitless. 

Family was always her priority, and they were a great source of pride and joy to her. 

Her compassion for others was so evident through her chosen field of work in caring for others, which continued throughout her entire life. 

Mom was always busy doing something. Among some of the things she loved were baking/canning, berry picking, gardening, music, traveling, word search puzzles, and making things for others ie crocheting, knitting, plastic canvas, and so much more. 

Kind, compassionate, hard working, fun and a blessing to all who knew her. 

Lovingly remembered by her children and their families Dwayne, (Chris, Karla) Brenda & Sherman, (Ashton, Haley, Charmaine) Randy (Melanie, Bethany, Matthew) daughter-in-law Connie (Theressa, Corry, Adam), brother David (Nancy) and their children, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. 

Mom was predeceased by her son Doug, daughter Melanie, and great grandson Dylan along with her parents, brothers and sisters and other family members/friends. 

A special Thank You to all the wonderful staff at Central Haven who were a part of Mom's life and took such good care of her. 

Thank you also to Martens Warman Funeral Home for preparing Mom for the next part of her journey.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, December 7th, 2024, at 12:00 noon, at Martens Warman Funeral Home 402 Central Avenue Warman, SK.
