Subscription Update Obituary

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Selina Susan (Doell) Neufeld, 58, of Martensville, SK. Selina passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on August 23, 2021, in Saskatoon, SK.

 

Selina was born on February 20, 1963, at the Saskatoon City Hospital. Selina worked as a paste-up artist at the Star Phoenix for 12 years, which she enjoyed. She spent most of her life owning and operating a cabinet shop and building homes. She was part of a women’s motorcycle group, Women in the Wind. She always said her motorcycle was her happy place.

 

She is lovingly survived by her beloved, Scott Cameron Nolin and children; Stephanie Dawn (Neufeld) Schick, Ryan Jack Neufeld and (Chelsea Brant); her loving family, sisters Elma (Doell) Quiring and Niel; Judy (Doell) Thiele and Al; brothers Jerry Doell; Ken and Pat Doell; Rod Doell.

 

Many loved dearly by Selina, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many relatives and friends.

 

A celebration of Selina’s life will be held at the Warman Bergthaler Mennonite Church at 2:00 pm on Friday August 27th, 2021 at 206 2nd Street West, Warman, SK, with Bishop Howard Peters officiating.
