Shaylyn Amber Bear

Shaylyn Amber Bear, born on November 26, 1997, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, passed away on September 8, 2024.

Shaylyn leaves behind her two precious children, Ava-Rose Bear and Theran Bear. She is survived by her parents, Shelly Bouvier and Alvin Bear, and her siblings: Chantelle Bouvier, Shyla Bouvier, Alexandra Bear, Alaura, Lincoln, and Ashton Bouvier. Shaylyn was a proud aunt to her nephews, Rollin and Richard Jr., and niece, Ocean. She also held a special place in her heart for her foster parents, Vivienne and Glen.

She is survived by her grandparents, Angelique Linklater and Daniel Bear Sr.; aunties—Andrea Bouvier, Victoria Linklater and family, Ruby Rachel Bear and family, Norma A. Bear and family, Tracy Bird-Stewart and family, Eileen Bear and family, Dreama Morin and family, and Crystal Bouvier and family—as well as her uncles, Sheldon Bouvier and family, Bruce Bouvier and family, Daniel Morin and family, Donald Bear and family, Darryl Bear and family, Doyle Bear and family, and Arnold McDonald and family. Great aunts: Lorna Black, Margaret Bear, and Shelia Bear, along with her great uncle, William Issac Linklater, and many cousins.

Shaylyn was predecesed by her brothers, Dakota Bear and Devon Bouvier; uncles Lee Bouvier, Darnell Bear, and Emmery Bear, and her aunties Beverly Yellowquill, Delores Ketch, and Shirley Tsakoza; nephew Kyle Bear Jr., cousins Tyler Fox, Angel Brown, and Darnell Jr.; grandparents, Allen and Linda Bouvier; her foster sister, Fiona, along with her great uncle and aunt, Donny Ross and Georgina Ross.

Wake will begin on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Sandy Bay Community Hall, Sandy Bay, SK, followed by a Funeral Service on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., also at the Sandy Bay Community Hall.
