Sheila is survived and greatly missed by her Children, Shannon Armstrong (Jeff Doering) of Langham, Saskatchewan, and Robert Armstrong of London, England; her Grandchildren, Charlie and Dylan Doering; her Brother, Jim Grimsdale (Janet) of Red Deer, Alberta; Nieces and Nephews, Kathy Grimsdale, Leanne Smith (Mike & Ethan), and Tom Grimsdale (Leigh-Ann and Nicole) all of Red Deer, Alberta; and her many cousins. Sheila was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Peggy and Fred Grimsdale, her Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents.
Sheila was a Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, teacher, singer, traveler, and wonderful friend. She had style, grace, and patience.
Your memories of Sheila may include her childhood adventures in Sonningdale, Saskatchewan, playing around town (maybe even getting into trouble with Cousin Tom), curling, and working in the family store; as a student at the University of Saskatchewan; her many traveling adventures through her lifetime, across North and South America, the Caribbean, and Europe; as a teacher at Delisle Elementary School; as a member of the Magic City Chorus; and as a friend.
She was lucky enough to have friends and family with her in her very last days. She will be fondly remembered in her beautiful garden, smiling, and singing, dressed in the most stylish outfits and shoes that Delisle Elementary School had ever seen.
