It is with heart felt sorrow that we announce our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Shirley Kortko has gone on her journey to reunite with her true love Louis!
Shirley passed away Monday night, May 23, 2022, at the age of 79 years.
She was a mother to everyone who knew her! Her compassion and empathy as a remarkable nurse carried her throughout the lives she touched! We will all miss her intelligence, feistiness, and incredible knowledge of history. Particularly the history of Saskatoon and recalling of stories from the farm. But most of all we will miss her cooking and remarkable baking.
Shirley was a confidante to many and was trusted with your private thoughts and she never judged you but would simply listen.
Rest in peace Mom and give Dad a big hug from all of us.
A private memorial service was held in remembrance of Shirley’s life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Martens Warman Funeral Home (306) 934-4888.
