With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Stephen James Stavely-Arcand, announce his sudden and unexpected passing on July 3, 2024, in Saskatoon. Stephen was 39 years old, much too young to leave this world. He was born and raised in Saskatoon. 

Stephen had a great passion for singing, playing guitar, and also for writing songs. He had such a great talent. He was a shining bright light with a huge heart of gold. He was so kind and made a big impact on everyone he met.

Stephen was a top salesman and could “sell ice to an Eskimo.” His love and memories will live on forever.

Stephen is survived by his loving mom, Maureen Stavely, his stepfathers, Orben Laliberte and Johnny Randhile Sr. His children, who loved him dearly, Taylor, Jordyn, and Kolby Smith; the mother of his children Melissa Smith; his grandma Myrtle Stavely; his girlfriend Tracie Snakeskin; his brothers John Jr (Jenna), Waylon Stavely, Sean Kootenay; sisters Cristy (Lance) Kootenay, Crystal Kootenay; uncles Rick (Tammy), Bill (Crystal), Tom (Marti) Stavely, Daniel Ross, Albert, Noel and Jimmy Randhile; aunties Angie (Mike) Cheney, Debbie (Frank) Umpherville, Gloria Ross, Rose Head, Betty Ann Stucky; his special uncle/Godfather and Godmother Rick (Tammy) Stavely; special cousins Shawn and Brad; special friends Robin Ledoux, Matt Desjarlais, Moses Carriere, and Roberto Pooyak; numerous great uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Predeceased by his dad Paul Arcand; his Papa Tony Stavely; his kookum Freda Ross; his mooshum Harry Arcand, uncle Paul Randhile; and his best friend Matthew McLean.

Wake Services will commence on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., until Thursday, July 11th, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK.

All services will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 454 Egbert Avenue, Saskatoon, SK.
