Tamara (Tammy) Sullivan (nee Koberinski) - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our daughter, “tootsie little sister”, “mama” and auntie, at the young age of 49. Tammy is fondly remembered by her two daughters, Savannah and Ashton and her fur babies Todd and Yoda, her partner Shane, her mother Rose and mother-in-law Irene, her siblings Darcy (Ben), Debbie, and Chad (Joanne), her nieces and nephews, Colton (Deanna), Ciarra, Cassie, Carmyn, Emma, Matthew, and Chloe, as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Tammy was predeceased by her father Marvin (Marv) Koberinski, her baba and gido Patricia and Joseph (Joe) Bodnar, and her grandparents Leo and Elizabeth Koberinski. Her legacy will be kept by all who knew her. Heaven gained another angel on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025. She was an angel on earth, who brought light into so many people’s lives, who is now an angel in heaven watching over us. Tammy may be gone in body but not in spirit.
Tammy was born in Humboldt, SK on September 19th, 1975, and grew up in numerous small towns in the province before settling in Saskatoon. There, she attended the University of Saskatchewan and attained her commerce degree. Later, challenging and successfully achieving her Human Resources Designation. Upon her passing she was employed at the Saskatchewan Teachers federation where she enjoyed her work. Tammy was a respected colleague, and a devoted mother. Her two children, Savannah and Ashton were her pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to raising them as a single mother. She loved them so much that she gave up her love for volleyball and softball to dedicate more time to raising her girls. When we think of Tammy Sullivan we think of her strength, kindness, generosity, and dedication to her loved ones. It’s the love and connection she has built that brings us all here today.
A public Divine Liturgy honouring Tammy will take place at 10 a.m. on March 24, 2025 at the Dormition Ukrainian Catholic Parish in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
