Travis Allen Caisse

Travis Allen Caisse, also known as Cheez, was born on August 4, 1983, in Ile-a-la-Crosse. He passed away on August 10, 2024, leaving a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Travis will always be remembered for his unwavering loyalty.

In his journey through life, Travis forged deep connections with his family and friends. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones. Travis is survived by his beloved son, Roman, and Roman's mother, Amanda Daigneault. Travis was a cherished son to Joe & Vicky Caisse and paternal mother, Gladys Kenny. He shared a special bond with his siblings: Shawna, Lee Anne, Victoria (Stanley Nelson), Rose, Darlene (Kelvin), Karlyn, Timothy (Gil), Mervin, Darryl (Renee), along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

He is now reunited in spirit with his grandparents: Etienne and Julienne Corrigal, Michel & Philonene Caisse, Norman & Elizabeth Kenny. In their heavenly abode, they will find solace in each other's presence once more.

Among his loyal friends (bros) were Cody Favel, Malcom Morin, Cory Maurice, Will Favel, Ryan (Phil) Ratt, Garth Ratt, Nate (Nate Dawg) Sylvestre, Fred (Bobboss) Bouvier, Leon Montgrand, Irvin (Swerv) Merasty, Brian "Kergs" Ratt, and Pops: Mike Cummings, Dennis Durocher.

The world has lost a truly remarkable soul in Travis. As those who knew him mourn his passing, they also celebrate the cherished memories and moments they were fortunate enough to share with him.

May his spirit find peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and strength to all who loved him. Travis Allen Caisse will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Wake service will begin on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Île-à-la-Crosse. Travis' Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m., at St. Johns Baptist in Île-à-la-Crosse. Officiating his Funeral Service will be Fr. Josi Chinthamalla, MSFS. Interment will follow at the Île-à-la-Crosse Cemetery.
