Warner Owen Fiddler-Morningstar (nickname WOF) was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He cared so much for everyone, especially family and he was always ready to lend a helping hand. At times he struggled with his past, but did his best to live a full life and to follow the nehiyaw traditional ways that he was raised with. One of the ways he did this was to be a helper in sweats, feasts, and other ceremonies. Even in times of his sickness, he wanted to do things for himself and take care of his own needs. He was an independent, kind, generous. and caring person with a big heart. He will be missed by everyone who loved him and remembered forever.
He is survived by his loving mother, Cecilia; his sisters, Sheila (Reno), Noreen, Cheri, Christine, Faith, Lynal (Shanda), Ableheza (Nikita), Jamie and Alisa; his kohkom Emma Ernest and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is pre-deceased by his father, Armand Joseph Fiddler; brother Garner Sakipakaw, niece Shaelynn, paternal grandparents Joe and Cecile Fiddler; maternal grandpa Bruno Ernest and aunts, uncles, cousins.
