William Alfred Herman

William Alfred Herman, a cherished family man and steadfast friend, passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 76. Born on October 5, 1948, William's life was a testament to the values of love, dedication, and resilience that he instilled in those around him.

He is by his beloved wife, Janet Herman, and their children. William took great pride in his son, Herman, as well as his daughters, Della (Calvin) Hanson, Debra (Tom), and Judy Montgrand. His family continued to grow with stepdaughters, Deanna and Deidre Herman, and stepson, Carl Cardinal. A proud grandfather, William was a guiding figure for his grandson, Jonah Herman, and his granddaughters, Dainna Fontain, Delainna, Alainna, and Hanna Herman, along with Vanna Desjarlais.

William is also remembered by his siblings, sisters Merilyn and Judy Herman, and brothers Pascal, David, Mark, and Marcel. Their collective memories will forever honor the legacy of a devoted brother and family member.

William was preceded in death by his loving parents, Mathaias and Gertrud Herman, and his sons, Corneilus and Barthalomew Herman. He was also predeceased by his brothers Albert and Steven Herman, and sisters Emily Toulejour and Ernestine Lemaigre. Additionally, the presence of his father and mother-in-law, Isaac and Stephanie Herman, is missed.

His large extended family, comprised of numerous grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews, also mourns his passing, reflecting the profound impact he made throughout his life.

William Alfred Herman's memory will live on through his family and friends, who will carry forward his spirit, values, and love.
